Mahogany Dug Outs

Mahogany Wood Dug outs.  These dug outs are also known as one hitter smoke boxes and are milled here in New York by The Mill. Mahogany is a fine wood that is classified as exotic wood imported from South America. The most widespread species of mahogany and the only true mahogany species commercially grown today come from Mexico or Brazil.  When you slide the lid open a standard metal cigarette bat will pop out for easy accessibility. This wooden dug out contains two separate compartments. One is a larger size for storage of your material and the other is a smaller compartment which hold the cigarette bat. These are available in 2 sizes small or large. Dug outs are also known as one hitter smoke boxes. They are a very portable and make smoking on the go so easy.

These mahogany dugouts are very durable and strong, with a fine texture. It is extremely beautiful, ranging in color from light wood to a slightly darker wood.  All hard wood mahogany makes it a favorite for turning and carving, and finishes very smoothly.
